Our Journey
What started as a simple Friday morning football gathering among youth in Naifaru has grown into a comprehensive community organization dedicated to positive change.
The Beginning
Youth from Naifaru began gathering every Friday and Saturday after Fajr prayers to play football, strengthening friendship and brotherhood while receiving religious guidance from local scholars.
Birth of FATHIS FC
The team was formalized during a futsal tournament with the name "FATHIS FC" and slogan "Prayer is Better than Sleep." A Facebook page was created to share updates and build community connections.
Community Programs Launch
Introduction of religious and community programs including Islamic lectures, women's education programs, children's religious classes, and comprehensive Ramadan programs across all island mosques.
FATHIS Media Formation
Establishment of a dedicated media team to live stream religious lectures and expand outreach through YouTube, Viber, Telegram, and TikTok platforms.
FATHIS Aid Launch
Emergency assistance program launched during COVID-19 lockdown to provide essential necessities to families in need, demonstrating community care and solidarity.
Viyana Program
Launch of youth rehabilitation program featuring three-day camps with Islamic knowledge workshops, leadership training, and personal development for youth returning from crime-related environments.
Multi-Island Expansion
Programs expanded to multiple islands following community requests, extending FATHIS reach beyond Naifaru to strengthen faith and social responsibility across different communities.
Official NGO Registration
FATHIS was formally registered as an NGO with government authorities to operate more effectively and provide sustainable, structured community services.
